Our Mission & Vision
Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Steve Levin, Rachel Kropa, and Jonathan Schulhof founded FootPrint Coalition to create a world of sustainable abundance.
Our goal is to modernize existing industries and create entirely new ones through non-profit initiatives funding basic science, environmental justice and media advocacy. Our collective goal is to create and promote new solutions to propel humanity forward, while reducing our impact on the planet we call home.
Funding needs to move into cutting-edge and applied research; into new technology standards and regulation; and into measuring and mitigating impacts to the frontline & fenceline communities most affected by climate change and biodiversity loss. These are best accelerated through catalytic philanthropy and storytelling that can inform audiences about new solutions and encourage them to advocate for their adoption.
Amazing innovators are working feverishly to develop solutions that improve our lives without damaging the planet, and FootPrint Coalition wants to share their stories.
The latest scientific research, the newest technologies, the massive social movements, and the government actions to make a more sustainable world will reshape millions of lives. And our work wants to help everyone embrace the positive changes these innovations will bring.
